Greg Roselli: CEO and Founder Big Picture Entertainment LimitedGreg has been a leading media and entertainment lawyer for over twenty years, working on some of the most memorable entertainment events with a number of leading media corporations, giving him extensive experience in intellectual rights negotiations and acquisitions. He has an in depth understanding of marketing and distribution across all media including television, radio, DVD, online and broadband on a territory-by-territory basis. Greg came to the UK from Chicago in 1984 to act as Business affairs manager of Zenith Productions (Carlton/Paramount) the company that lead the British independent Film Movement in the 1980's and produced some of the most memorable television series of the time. Throughout the nineties Greg was employed as Director of International Business Affairs for Granada Television and was subsequently appointed commissioning editor for music and entertainment, producing and distributing programs such as Madonna Blond Ambition, Prince Love Sexy, The Rolling Stones and the Three Tenors. In 1996 he became a founding partner in Eagle Rock Entertainment and its Director of Visual Programming. He founded Big Picture Entertainment in October 2003. John Hall: Director of Corporate Management and DevelopmentJohn began his career in the music business as a record plugger for RCA in 1969 and eventually became head of Promotion and marketing of that company working with such major artists as David Bowie, Lou Reed and Harry Nilsson. From 78 to 83 he was the Managing Director of Elton John's recording and publishing businesses, Rocket Records and in 1984 founded Filmtrax Plc, which became one of the largest international music publishing companies in the world, culminating in the acquisition of Columbia Pictures Music, Novello and Mogul Music. The company was sold to EMI in 1991 for $100 mil. Following the sale John ventured into the film and television business and in 1992 jointly acquired Portman Entertainment one of the UK's leading television production and distribution companies, closely followed by a further acquisition of Zenith Television Productions and Zenith North from Carlton TV and Paramount forming Portman Zenith Ltd the UK's largest independent drama producer. Both businesses were sold in 1997. IN 1998 John acquired control of Metrodome Plc, an ailing quoted film finance and production business, which he turned into a successful film releasing and video distribution business. He sold control of the business to a major quoted German distribution company in 2002 but still retains a significant shareholding. John and Greg joined forces in 2004 to develop the potential
of Big Picture Entertainment Ltd and exploit their complimentary
talents. Anna Lawrence: Production and Program Manager- FitOnTVAnna has worked within the broadcast and production industry
since graduating in 2000. These roles have included Facilities Manager
and more recently Creative Broadcast Manager for Time Life
International, which involved the production of Direct response TV
commercials throughout Europe. John Sivers: Financial DirectorJohn is chartered accountant and former Finance Director of Portman/Global Television, deputy MD of The Portman Zenith Group and MD of Golden Square Pictures. He acts on a consultancy basis to oversee the company's financial reporting structure and administration in collaboration with the company's auditors. Marcel Swagers: Head of MarketingMarcel started his career at KPMG Consultancy. He soon
realised that his creativity needed a more stimulating environment and
he moved on to the record industry where he held international
positions in Marketing, Label Management, Artist Development,
A&R and New Media at various majors and indies working with acts
like Chicago, Demis Roussos, Westlife, Foo Fighters, Christina Aguilera
and signing Holland's most successful rock band Kane in the process. Solely responsible for BMG Europe's online success at the dawn
of a new millenium, he created partnerships with the Renault Formula
One Team, creatively merging offline and online propositions, oversaw
the online launch of Elvis 30#1 Hits in Europe, and organised the Elvis
Presley Fashion Show with Sotheby's and The Prince's Trust, donating
the proceeds to help young emerging designers get on their feet. After a quick stint at the helm of his own company
specialising in Mobile content, he is now overseeing the marketing
department and working along side Greg in TV sales and acquisitions. |
